SFL announces The Fire Fighter’s Charity Partnership

SFL, the leadership and change management consultancy, which specialises in serving the Fire and Rescue Services, has announced an exclusive partnership with the The Fire Fighter’s Charity.  From October 2007, SFL will donate a percentage of the revenue from all FRS projects to the charity.

SFL works with over 15 Fire and Rescue Services from across the UK.  It specialises in helping CFOs to plan for change, specifically the people elements of change, including culture transformation, human capital optimisation, developing a unifying leadership message and leadership training and development.

John Fay MBE, Founder and CEO of SFL explains: “all at SFL have been privileged to see at first hand the dedication, professionalism and bravery of Fire Fighters and FRS personnel.  We wanted to be able to give something back to the service and recognise the excellent work of the The Fire Fighter’s Charity in providing services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.”

Roy Lawrenson from the The Fire Fighter’s Charity commented, “We are delighted with the partnership with SFL.  The FSBF plays an important role, caring for the welfare of those who have left the service, and SFLs continual donations will make a significant contribution to the charity’s mission to provide assistance to serving and retired personnel, their widow/ers and young dependants through the provision of sheltered accommodation, recuperative facilities, rehabilitation and therapy, in addition to financial support for those who need it.
