New government, new association – old faults? |

Speakers at the Fire Industry Association’s Parliamentary seminar held on December 10. Sponsored by the All-Party Parliamentary Fire Safety and Rescue Group, the seminar was designed to develop new policies and fresh links with government.The event stirred up a good deal of debate with a hard-hitting presentation by Wilf Butcher, FIA Export Manager, criticising government policy on funding for Britain’s exporters, whilst the government’s fire procurement arm, Firebuy, came in for some heavy criticism.
