The eyes of the workwear and corporate clothing world will be on the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on the 17th - 18th April at the UK's biggest ever Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show. This unique event will showcase the very best workwear, personal protective equipment (PPE) and corporate clothing available today from across the globe.
If you are looking to equip your staff with clothing, footwear or accessories; forge new business partnerships or source new products and services, then look no further than this year's show.
There is no doubt that times are tough and with no end in sight to the continuing economic downturn, businesses need to be mindful of budget restrictions and cut down on any unnecessary expenditure. Now more than ever, it is vital buyers find real value for money and make every pound they spend stretch further.
The Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show represents a perfect opportunity for individuals to research and source the best products and services the sector has to offer, network with suppliers and manufacturers and build new business partnerships cost effectively under one roof.
Truly international, the 2012 Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show will welcome more than 2,000 visitors and more than 60 exhibitors from over 20 countries, from as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, China and the USA.
Now in its fifth year, the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show has become the number one event in the industry's calendar and a must-attend occasion for global manufacturers, buyers, suppliers and everyone with an interest in any aspect of commercial workwear, corporate clothing and PPE from industry sectors including oil and gas, construction, emergency services, retail, hospitality, finance, health and beauty, plus many more.
Managing Director of the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show Yvette Ashby says: "Every year, the show just gets bigger and bigger and 2012 is without a doubt, no exception. In fact, such is the international prestige of the show that we are preparing to welcome a huge trade delegation from China with the China Workwear Association booking a number of stands at this year' s event to showcase the best of what China has to offer. With the Chinese workwear industry now estimated to be worth some £23 billion, approximately ten times the value of the European market, this represents a significant and exciting opportunity for European suppliers."
New exhibitors for 2012
The very best of what the USA has to offer will be represented by Safety Focus Global, a key supplier of high quality PPE and its US partners Dragonwear - a manufacturer of lightweight, breathable, high visibility clothing that is fire-and arc-resistant, Newtex - a leader in high temperature materials for thermal management and fire-protection applications, Nasco - manufacturer of protective outerwear for industrial applications and International Enviroguard - leading manufacturers of disposable protective clothing that mitigates heat stress and offers chemical protection (BP chose coveralls exclusively from International Enviroguard for the clean-up process after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill).
Also brand new for 2012 we're thrilled to introduce Armadillo Merino, an innovative manufacturer specialising in next-to-skin personal protection clothing using the unique properties of merino wool. Merino wool has natural breathability helping to reduce over-heating as well as providing warmth when worn as an insulating layer and doesn't generate odour so garments can be worn for days. In addition, the wool has natural flame retardant properties with a high ignition temperature of between 570°C and 600°C.
Other new exhibitors include: Fuzhou Safemate Worldwide Co. Ltd, an exporter of workwear and outdoor wear and Clayton of Chesterfield, specialists in heavy leather production.
Returning favourites for 2012
We look forward to welcoming back exhibitors who fully support and come to the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show each year because it is a must-attend in the industry calendar. These include: Hunter Apparel Solutions who will showcase its signature uniforms and premier service to key decision makers across the industry; Polymark and its wide range of items for textile identification and decoration; and leading research and technology organisation SATRA, plus many, many more.
And there's more...
If that wasn't enough, all the major players in the workwear, corporate clothing and PPE supply chain will be attending our first ever Professional Clothing Awards, a stylish and entertaining black tie gala award dinner, offering unique networking opportunities for everyone who's anyone in the industry.
Yvette Ashby concludes: "The downturn continues to affect businesses across the globe and the workwear and corporate clothing sector is no exception. Never has there been a more important time for those in the sector to embrace innovation and collaboration and work smarter to stay ahead. The 2012 Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show will help attendees do just that."
