The Mansion Hotel was the final venue to raise funds for the Blazing Saddles project at which firefighters handed over a cheque for £16,370 to The Fire Fighters Charity and Clic Sergent.

During the evening invited guests enjoyed a buffet, a live band, The Fo Sho's, a grand raffle and an auction.

The team would like thanked the many people who supported the Blazing Saddles event. This included the following: Steve St-Claire, brigade photographer, Flying Colours Motorcycle Training, Choice Vehicle Hire, Premier Inn, Stena Ferries, Community Fire Safety Team from Eastbourne Fire Station, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, The Fire Fighters Charity, Clic Sergent, Prince Albert Public House, Old Town, Tesco, Boots and Asda for help with collecting, Jane Whitteker and Gary Montague (GMS Printing), and the Mansion Hotel.
