Cassidian graduates raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity
The Fire Fighters Charity representatives, Chairman Keith MacGillivray and Deputy Chairman Ken Seager, flew from Scotland on the April 20, 2011 to visit Cassidian graduates and boards membersMike Simms, Vice president and Paul Watson, CEO at the headquarters in Newport to receive a cheque of £2,258.22. This money was raised by Cassidian graduates as part of their annual charity task.
Fundraising events were held throughout the UK in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity. Annual events such as the Ladies Driving Challenge help raise thousands of pounds to provide support services, along with using clothes bins, abseiling activities, running the Cardiff half marathon and cycling the length of the country. The graduates will be organising a range of events throughout this year again to keep supporting The Fire Fighters Charity.
