engineeringwomenThe WES Student Conference 2014 for undergraduate women in engineering and technology will take place on 14 - 15 November 2014 at Aston University, Birmingham.

Under the theme of 'Engineering Inspiration', the event will bring together over 150 students and engineers to celebrate their shared passion and to open student's eyes to career possibilities.

The Women's Engineering Society Student Conference is a dynamic environment creating career confidence, where women engineering students join workshops, panel discussions and activities to:
• gain insights into emerging technologies
• meet and learn from role models
• develop career-life balance strategies
• hone self-awareness and communication skills

The 2014 conference will see talks from more than 50 early/mid career engineers from Arup, Atkins, Instron, JLR, Transport for London, Malvern Instruments, Selex, PG and many others.
