Smoke and flame barrier specialist, TBA FIREFLYTM is returning to The Fire Safety Event at the NEC (5th - 7th April) with new products developed to complement its widely specified selection of barrier systems.
Located on Stand No K30, FIREFLYTM will be showcasing its recently introduced Access Panel FR120 that has been developed to facilitate routine entry within lofts and other spaces compartmentalised using the manufacturer’s flexible fire barriers. The 600 x 600mm and 1200 x 600mm lockable Zintec steel door and frame are IFC certified and supplied as a kit for a straightforward installation offering 120 minutes fire protection
Also debuting on the stand will be Penowrap, a lightweight and flexible wrap which works with barriers like Athena by being able to protect steel or timber structural members up to 300mm beyond the main installation. Athena itself is easy to handle while being designed as a two layer system it typically delivers savings on installation costs of 30% compared to competitor products and is ideally suited for installation in timber lofts.
Firefly’s expert technical staff will be on hand to offer advice and support on all aspects of compartmentation when specifying the company’s products for both new-build and retrofit applications – within roof spaces, floor voids or for protecting partitions in warehouses and other structures.
FireflyTM Marketing Manager, Simon James comments: “FireflyTM was the first certified flexible fire barrier system supplier and continues to invest in developing new products which enhance our offer to specifiers and specialist installers. Shows like The Fire Safety Event are important to our brand and we are looking forward to offering architects, engineers and other fire safety professionals the opportunity to look at, feel and discuss our passive fire protection – it is, after all, everything we are about.”
As well as familiarising themselves with Firefly’s expanded range, attendees will be able to attend conference seminars featuring leading industry experts, network with colleagues and gain CPD points.
