Julie has golden success in the World Masters Track Cycling Championships

Watch Commander Julie Cooper (Trauma Dept) won double gold at the velodrome in Manchester last week making her a double world Champion in the 45-49 age category.

Success came in the 500M time trial and the Sprint competition.

She also achieved a silver medal by partnering her sister Debbie in the team sprint, 2/10th of a second behind the gold medal time in an exciting final.

Julie also just missed out on a podium spot in the 10k scratch race with a credible 5th place earlier in the week.
