Pevensey station celebrates centenary
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service celebrated 100 years of saving lives at Pevensey Community Station with an array of fun events for the local community on Saturday.
Firefighters showed off historical vehicles as members of the public got to check out photographs of the station and the crews, dating back over the past century.
There was also a penalty shout-out with the Coaching for a Safer Community football team and a range of fire safety demonstrations.
Retained Crew Manager, Chris Freeman, said: "Firefighters from Pevensey are really pleased to [be] welcoming members of the public to the fire station to celebrate our 100 year anniversary."
