The Fire Industry Ball is calling for full support for this year’s event in aid of the Charitable Trust. In past years, the event has raised more than £10,000 for The Trust enabling it to support the many good causes including the Children’s Burns Trust.
The Trust already has some generous donations to the raffle and auction and this year the evening is themed around the 350th Anniversary of the Great Fire of London. In addition to the entertainment of dancing to the Big Band, there will be a premier of a dinner play throughout the evening as ‘Samuel Pepys’ (the real one apparently…) joins everyone to share his recollections of the fire and its aftermath.
There will also be gifts for attendees including special biscuits provided by the Worshipful Company of Bakers and a copy of the newly published book featuring a cold-case review of the 1666 fire investigation.
Many leaders from the industry will be attending, including the Master Firefighter, the Commissioner of London Fire Brigade and Government’s Chief Fire & Rescue Advisor. It promises to be a fantastic event from start to finish but is also needs to be a financial success for the Charity.
Tickets are priced at £120 per person, which includes the pre-dinner reception, all entertainment and wine during the meal. To book, simply:
Go online at www.firefighterscompany.co.uk simply drop Jon Hall a note at firstname.lastname@example.org OR
give him a call on 07899 066035. Hoping that this year’s ball will not just go ahead but will be the success for the Charitable Trust that we would all wish.
Many thanks for your support.
