ROCKWOOL® has unveiled a new collection of passive fire protection resources to make the specification and installation of firestopping and fire resistance solutions easier. The brand new FIREPRO® Resource Hub brings all materials that stakeholders might need into one place, ensuring they always have access to the latest information and guidance.
A new version of the ROCKWOOL FIREPRO® Book is at the heart of the new hub and is a comprehensive catalogue of tested and certified passive fire protection solutions that cover every application from structural protection to cavity firestops, and building services protection. Within the guide, users will find detailed information for each product in the range, including application and installation advice, testing data and relevant specification clauses. The new and improved ROCKWOOL FIREPRO® Book supersedes all previous versions to give users the very latest information to aid accurate specification.
Within the new FIREPRO® Resource Hub, users will also find a Firestopping Standard Details Pack, the latest CPD modules including topics such as effective compartmentation, and the handy FIREPRO® Solutions Finder that aids specification through step-by-step questions. The Resource Hub, found at rockwool.co.uk/firepro also features case studies of the ROCKWOOL FIREPRO® range in practice.
“Passive fire protection is such a crucial part of building design, so we want to support those responsible for fire safety in specifying the best possible solutions for their project,” said Coral Morgan, Product Manager – HVAC & Fire at ROCKWOOL. “As well as bringing everything they need into one place for quicker and easier specification, we’ve also updated our brochures and materials to make sure they are up-to-the-minute. This means users can be confident they are working with the very latest information and data.”
The ROCKWOOL® FIREPRO® range of passive fire protection products provides firestopping and fire resistance throughout the building’s construction, ensuring the building and its occupants are safer in the event of a fire.
