hampshireThe IFE Registrant’s Group Membership Committee has paid tribute to Colin Partridge, a long-standing volunteer in Hampshire. 

Colin has been a member of the Southampton City Fire Brigade and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service on amalgamation, for the past 40 years and has been a member of the Southern Branch for 35 years. He served on the Southern Branch Committee for the 15 years during which time he has been Branch Secretary, Regional Representative and Assembly Member. Colin has been involved with IFE Examinations and is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors and promotes the principle of a professional examination structure. He is a Companion Fellow of the IFE.

Colin was registered as an Incorporated Engineer in 2003 and became a Registrants Group Membership Committee member in 2004. He has been involved with the Engineering Technician Working Group as an assessor and as an assessor trainer. Colin is a strong supporter of the IFE Engineering Council Registrants Group and believes that Engineering Council Registration is an excellent way to enhance the professional standing of Fire Engineering both in the public and private sector.
