The Implications of the Fracking Industry

Mid and West Wales branch members are invited to an event considering the implication and impact of the Fracking Industry on the local community and emergency services.
Held at the Caer Suite at Mid and West Wales Service HQ, the agenda is:

14:00 – 16:00 Joy Fanning will talk about the impact and effect the expanding Fracking and Oil Industry has had in Montana, USA.
Followed by Q & A
Joy is a dispatcher for the emergency services in Montana and the borders of North Dakota where the expanding gas and oil fracking industry is centred. She has had very demanding experiences with the sudden large scale social developments that the industry has created in what were remote rural communities. She is particularly aware of the effect that this has had on the emergency services.
