If you are looking to start 2021 by boosting your professional development, the University of Leeds is planning two industrial short courses as part of its Fire Engineering portfolio: Fire Dynamics and Modelling and Fire Safety Design. The Fire Dynamics and Modelling course takes place from 19th - 23rd April 2021 (postponed from its original January date) and is ideal for those wishing or needing to gain a comprehensive, scientifically-based analysis and engineering quantification tools, of fire development and consequence assessment in industrial and residential scenarios. The Fire Safety Design course will take place in June/July (date to be confirmed) and provides a structured, organised and comprehensive framework for fire safety and building fire protection design. The Fire Dynamics course is now available to book and University of Leeds will be opening registrations in the next few weeks for Fire Safety Design. Both courses are approved by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) for CPD hours.
